Old Fashioned Oatmeal Bowl

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 2 tbsps of chia seeds
  • 2 tbsps of raw cane sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of sea salt
  • 2 cups of water
  • Pour 1 cup of rolled oats into a small pot
  • Add 2 tbsps of chia seeds
  • Add 2 tbsps of raw cane sugar
  • Add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • Add 1/4 tsp of sea salt
  • Mix the dry ingredients
  • Add to cups of water
  • Let it cook on medium low heat for 5 minutes
  • Stir periodically

*Add 1/2 cup of berries for additional antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals

gluten free vegan pancakes

Gluten Free Vegan Pancakes

  • 1 cup chickpea flower
  • 2 tbsps of cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp of aluminum free baking powder (for fluffiness)
  • 1/2 tsp of sea salt
  • 1/2 tsps of cinnamon
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 2 cups cashew milk
  • 2 tsps of organic vanilla extract
  • coconut oil (for cooking in the pan)
  • Handheld food processor

Makes 3-4 pancakes

  • Mix all dry ingredient in a big mixing bowl
  • Mash the bananas till creamy and add them to the bowl
  • Add all wet ingredients to the bowl
  • Mix until the batter is creamy
  • Add about 1-2 tbsp of oil to skillet
  • Add pancake batter to the skillet on medium heat
  • Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides
